NEW YORK MAYOR CALLS FOR CALM AFTER FIRST EBOLA CASE

The Mayor of New York has called for calm in the city after its first case of ebola.

A doctor recently returned from treating Ebola patients in Guinea in West Africa has tested positive.

He is the fourth case of Ebola in the US.

Nearly 5000 people have died worldwide since the outbreak began, the vast majority in West Africa.

Ben Newman, virologist at the University of Reading, says no one should be surprised at one case in New York.
