The US has slapped sanctions on eleven individuals and one Indonesian organization, for aiding the flow of foreign fighters and funding to Islamist terrorist groups- including the Islamic State organisation.
The move by the US Treasury Department came as President Obama lobbied other countries to stop foreign fighters from joining terrorist groups, and to disrupt their sources of funding.
