Russia sends humanitarian aid convoy into Eastern Ukraine

A Russian humanitarian aid convoy of 220 lorries has crossed the border from Russia into Eastern Ukraine without permission from Kiev.

Russia says it comprises of 2000 tonnes of food, water purification supplies and medical supplies to help the people struggling in the regions of Luhansk and Donetsk.
