Obama tries to rally world to anti-ISIS coalition

President Barack Obama has called on the rest of the world to join the coalition combatting the group which calls itself the Islamic State.

THe US leader outlined a four-point plan for dealing with violent extremism in his annual speech to the United Nations General Assembly, taking place in New York.

The approach includes the eradication of the so-called Islamic State group, but also an effort to halt the spread of extremist ideology and address the conditions in which it thrives.
