Judge says witnesses got facts wrong

INTRO:  The judge in the murder trial of Paralympic athlete Oscar Pistorius has stated that most witnesses who heard shots, screaming and crying on the night the athlete shot and killed his girlfriend, got their facts wrong. Judge Thokzile Masipa has started delivering what is expected to be a lengthy judgement. Pistorius could face 15 to 20 years in prison if the court finds that he intentionally killed Reeva Steenkamp last year. 

The judge said the testimony of most witnesses failed when tested against the undisputed timeline of events ...

The judgement is expected to conclude tomorrow and if found guilty, sentencing could take place weeks later.
