Italy under EU pressure to keep better tabs on migrants after Syrians arrested in Austria

48 Syrian refugees were arrested by Austrian police crossing the Italian border on Wednesday morning, and will be deported back to Italy.
The case will add to pressure on Italian authorities to keep track of migrants.
On Monday, the interior ministers of France and Germany issued a statement asking Rome to make sure European rules requiring migrants to seek asylum in the first EU county they arrive in are respected.
