Facebook, eBay, Tumblr and LinkedIn all hit by website outages

Facebook and eBay have experienced technical glitches, with members reporting difficulty accessing their websites.

Yahoo's blogging service, Tumblr, and the corporate social network, LinkedIn, were also disrupted.
