US troops could be deployed in ground attacks against Islamic State militants- that's the message from Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Martin Dempsey, and US Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel- testifying earlier on Capitol Hill.
US military 'advisers' are already on the ground helping the Iraqi government in the fight against ISIS, but this was the first time US military chiefs have suggested there could be 'boots on the ground' deployed on combat missions.
