The next deadline in nuclear talks between Iran and six world powers passes on Monday, with the International Atomic Energy Agency saying that Iran has started to comply with the terms of an agreement struck earlier this year.
Under the deal, Iran must use some of its high-grade enriched uranium to produce fuel, thereby making it unavailable for military use.
Iran insists its nuclear program is for purely peaceful purposes, and has been given until November 24th to extend the interim agreement reached in Vienna.
Bob McMahon of the New York-based Council on Foreign Relations says so far the IAEA has approved of the steps Iran is taking.
