Michael Brown's father appeals for calm ahead of son's funeral

The father of Michael Brown, the unarmed African-American teenager shot to death by a police officer in a suburb of St. Louis earlier this month, is urging calm for his funeral on Monday.

The killing sparked days of violent protests in the suburb of Ferguson, but tempers have cooled over the last few days.

Our Washington Correspondent Simon Marks says area authorities are hoping the funeral doesn't lead to renewed violence.
