Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond and leader of the Better Together campaign Alistair Darling have clashed in a televised debate, ahead of Scotland's independence referendum next month.
The two politicians fought over issues including currency for an independent Scotland, welfare reforms, and the National Health Service.
Early polls suggest that Mr Salmond was the victor.
But politics professor John Curtice says that the debate may have missed the most important point.
