US judge blocks Trump's birthright citizenship executive order following Supreme Court ruling

A judge in the US state of New Hampshire has blocked President Trump's executive order to end birthright citizenship for the children of some immigrants, including those who've entered the US illegally.


He was able to bypass the Supreme Court decision preventing this because the case was brought as a class action lawsuit.

EU seek carveouts in US trade talks

Trump hosts African leaders at White House


US President Donald Trump is hosting five African leaders at the White House for talks on what the administration describes as as a push to deepen "commercial opportunities" between them and the U.S. 


The presidents of Senegal, Liberia, Guinea-Bissau, Mauritania, and Gabon are in Washington this week for a three-day mini summit - beginning with lunch at the White House on Wednesday.
