ISRAEL SAYS IT HAS AGREED TO IRAN CEASEFIRE

Israel says it's agreed to a ceasefire with Iran announced by US President Donald Trump.

Iran says if Israel stops its attacks it will do the same.

On Monday Iran launched missiles at an American air base in Qatar - in response to the US targeting its nuclear sites over the weekend.

American diplomat Mitchell B. Reiss says it does look to be a success for the US president.

Iran noncommittal on Trump's ceasefire claims

Hours after US President Donald Trump claimed that Iran and Israel have agreed to end hostilities, Tehran has neither confirmed nor denied the ceasefire being in place.


Iran's Foreign Minister also said his country has not agreed to Trump's ceasefire and that Tehran will decide later whether to approve of taking part in the agreement.

But Iran also said that it will stop its attacks on Israel if Tel Aviv does.

Iran hits back at the US, insisting it receives "a response" for its aggression

Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian has hit back at the US, saying it “must receive a response for their aggression”.

This comes after the US bombed three Iranian nuclear sites in the early hours of Sunday morning.
