President Macron suggests one-month truce in peace plan for Ukraine

President Macron has suggested there would be a one-month truce in Ukraine, in comments he made to a French newspaper on his return from a major summit in London.

Anora Wins Big At The Oscars

The independent film Anora was the big winner of the night at the Oscars.


Despite being made for a budget of only $6 million, it picked up five awards including Best Picture and Best Director. 


It's star Mikey Madison won Best Actress for her performance as a sex worker who marries the son of an oligarch. Best Actor went to Adrien Brody for his role in The Brutalist.

Uganda Reports Second Ebola Death

ZELENSKY: HAPPY TO RETURN TO WHITE HOUSE FOR TALKS

Ukraine's President Volodomyr Zelensky says he'd be happy to return to the White House despite last week's talks there collapsing.

President Zelensky had a public falling out with US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance on Friday.

Over the weekend he attended talks in London, at which the UK said it would put together a 'coalition of the willing' to police any peace deal between Ukraine and Russia.

Zelensky says he'd like to have private talks with President Trump next time - but would go back to Washington soon if asked to do so.
