European stocks in the red amid global sell-off


Stocks in Europe slid into the red in Monday's early trading, as a global selloff gathered momentum.

The rout was initially sparked by a disappointing jobs report in the U.S. at the end of last week - but has now spread to Europe and Asia.

Ukraine begins deploying long-awaited F-16 jets

Ukrainian pilots have begun flying the American-made F-16 jets for operations inside the country, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced over the weekend, confirming their long-awaited arrival.
