At least 78 Indian opposition leaders suspended from parliament over security breach protests
At least 78 Indian opposition parliamentarians were suspended on Monday for protesting against a major security breach in Parliament last week.
Reports suggest at least 30 opposition leaders were suspended from the lower house and another 45 from the Upper House for demanding a statement from the Home Minister in Parliament.
Opposition parties are calling the move an attack on democracy.
