Opposition leaders will begin a two-day meeting in Mumbai on Thursday to work on a strategy to take on prime minister Narendra Modi's party in the general elections due next year.
They are meeting under the banner of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance, known as the INDIA bloc - a recently-launched opposition front.
