TANZANIA MYSTERIOUS DISEASE

A mysterious disease that causes headaches and fevers has killed five people in Tanzania. The Tanzanian government has sent a medical team to the Kagera Region to investigate. Another two other patients have been admitted.

Indian ruling party MP calls for senior opposition to be expelled from Parliament

US drone strike video proves Russia is responsible, but not clear if collision intention, says White House

The US cannot say for certain whether Russia deliberately took down an American surveillance drone earlier this week over the Black Sea, but a senior White House official insists newly released video of that incident "demonstrates the US narrative" of events and proves that Moscow's account is a "flat out lie."


John Kirby, the National Security Council's Coordinator for Strategic Communications, said on Thursday that whilst "it's not clear that pilots intended to strike the drone," he nonetheless described their flying as "extremely aggressive, incompetent and at best reckless."
