Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts to be restored

Meta says it is reinstating Donald Trump's Facebook and Instagram accounts after a two-year ban.

The pages were suspended after the former president's supporters stormed the U.S. capitol in 2021 - whipped into a frenzy over his lies about election fraud.

Trump's Twitter account was restored in November.

Microsoft shares fall following disappointing forecast

Half Man Bay shooting suspect due in court

The man accused of killing at least seven people in a shooting rampage in Half Moon Bay, California is due to appear in court for the first time Wednesday.


California has been rocked by a series of mass shootings in the past ten days that have left at least twenty four people dead.

Personal grievances main cause of mass attacks in US according to US Secret Service

Personal, domestic or workplace disputes sparked half of mass attacks in the United States from 2016 to 2020 according to research from the U.S. Secret Service.


Nearly all of the attacks were carried out by men and a quarter were driven by conspiracy theories or hateful ideologies. 


The report aims to prevent violence by identifying warning signs and comes days after a pair of mass shootings in California took the lives of 18 people.

Criticism mounts over India's ban on BBC documentary

Students allege power and internet services were cut off at one of India's top universities during a screening of the banned BBC documentary on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Indian government has banned the sharing of the links to the documentary, calling it a 'propaganda piece' designed to push a discredited narrative.

Search for missing crew after cargo ship sinks off Japan
