GERMANY TO SEND TANKS TO UKRAINE

Germany looks set send its main battle tanks to Ukraine, after weeks of pressure from Kyiv and its allies.

The decision would also permit other NATO countries to export their German-made Leopard 2 tanks.

The US is also expected to announce that it will supply some of its Abram tanks to Ukraine's forces for the war against Russia.

Former British Army Commander, Colonel Richard Kemp, says it's a long overdue from German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
