California's biggest wildfire this year continues to burn just west of Yosemite national park.
It's one of several dangerous fires burning in the US, which is battling a heat wave as well as drought in many areas.

Russia has announced that it will pull out of involvement in the International Space Station in 2024 and proceed with a previous decision to build a space station of its own.
The move will end co-operation in orbit aboard the ISS that began in 1998, the Russians rejecting a US effort to extend Moscow's involvement in the space station until 2030.

European Union member states have agreed to cut gas consumption to save supplies amid fears Russia could turn off the taps this winter.
Twelve EU countries have already seen disruptions to gas deliveries from Russian energy giant gazprom.
