RUSSIA SHOWS INTEREST IN NIGERIA-MOROCCO GAS PIPELINE

Russia has expressed interest in investing in the Morocco-Nigeria gas pipeline (NMGP) which is expected to supply natural gas to West Africa and Europe.

 

This is coming just weeks after The European Union announced that it is looking to Nigeria for natural gas as it reduces its reliance on Russia due to its invasion of Ukraine.

VOLKSWAGEN "SOLD OUT" OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES

Volkswagan has announced that customers wanting to purchase an electric vehicle from the automaker could face increased delays because of the war in Ukraine.

EU plans to ban Russian oil imports as part of fresh sanctions on Moscow

The European Union is planning a full embargo on Russian oil imports as part of a fresh package of sanctions to be imposed on Moscow over the war in Ukraine.

San Francisco police arrest 'Pro-Life Spiderman' following skyscraper climb

Torture Video circulating in Ethiopia

UN: First batch of civilians trapped in Mariupol steel plant reach safety

The United Nations says the first group of civilians evacuated from a Ukrainian steel plant besieged by Russian forces have now reached safety.


Around 100 people were safely conveyed out of the plant in Mariupol after intervention by the UN Secretary General Antonio Gutteres.


Hundreds more civilians remain trapped, living in tunnels beneath the Avostal plant.

US Supreme Court ready to overturn landmark abortion ruling

It's been revealed that the US Supreme Court is on track to overturn a landmark 1973 ruling that legalized abortion throughout the United States.


A draft opinion leaked to a news website in Washington shows that the majority of justices on the 9-member court now favor overturning Roe versus Wade, the case that has protected abortion's legality from coast-to-coast.
