US alcohol-related deaths up by 25 per cent during pandemic
The number of alcohol-related deaths in the US have increased by 25 per cent during the pandemic.
A report from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism found that the number of such deaths from causes like liver disease and accidents was up by a quarter in 2020 over the previous year.
