A jury has found a Texas militia member guilty of all the charges he faced relating to the storming of the US Capitol. His was the first criminal trial to stem from the attack that threatened the presidential transfer of power on January 6, 2021.

The European Union has unveiled plans to cut its dependence on Russian gas by ⅔ by the end of 2022.
