VOTER REGISTRATION CARDS: LATEST VICTIM OF SUPPLY CHAIN BOTTLENECKS?

Texas is rationing the number of voter registration forms it's giving out to organizations that register voters and it's blaming it on supply chain issues.

The Secretary of State's office says the paper the forms are printed on has become harder to source and more expensive.

Former UK government minister calls for PM's resignation

Britain's beleaguered Prime Minister Boris Johnson suffered another political blow today.


A lawmaker from his governing Conservative Party switched sides and joined the opposition Labour Party.


And one of the Prime Minister's fellow conservatives - former government minister David Davis - urged him to resign.

In Kyiv, Blinken again urges Russia to de-escalate Ukraine tensions

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is again urging Russian President Vladimir Putin to de-escalate tensions along the Russian border with Ukraine where more than 100 thousand troops are massed.


The Secretary of State was in Kyiv today for talks with Ukrainian President Volodmyr Zelensky.


24 hours after the White House said a Russian invasion of Ukraine could come at any point, the Secretary of State told reporters there are only signs of Russian forces continuing to build.

NY Attorney General reveals scale of investigation against Trump business empire

New York's Attorney General says she has amassed evidence showing Donald Trump's business empire committed "fraudulent or misleading" business practices to misrepresent the value of its assets.


She's also revealed that the former President's son Eric pleaded the 5th Amendment against self-incrimination more than 500 times when he was questioned.

NY Attorney General accuses Trumps of ‘fraudulent or misleading’ practices

New York's Attorney General has accused Donald Trump's family business
of engaging in 'fraudulent or misleading' practices.

This follows the former President's efforts to block a civil
investigation into whether he misrepresented the value of some assets
for economic benefit.

Easing of Covid restrictions in England

Conservative MP defects to opposition Labour party in UK


In the UK, a Conservative Member of Parliament has defected to the opposition Labour party in another blow to Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Christian Wakeford represents the Bury South constituency in northern England, which the Conservatives flipped from Labour in the 2019 election.

Belgian court sentences Vietnamese man to 15 years in prison in migrant trafficking case


A court in Belgium has sentenced a Vietnamese man to 15 years in prison for his involvement in the trafficking of 39 migrants who were found dead in a lorry in the UK in 2019.

It follows a series of trials involving suspected members of the same people-smuggling ring in the UK, France and Vietnam.
