South Sudan's government signs peace deal with one rebel faction

South Sudan's government and a breakaway group from opposition leader turned vice president Riek Machar have signed a peace pact in Khartoum, Sudan on Sunday.

In August last year, the group broke away from South Sudan's opposition leader Riek Machar's claiming he no longer represented their interests.

British teenagers arrested after Texas synagogue siege

Two teenagers have been arrested in Manchester in England over the hostage-taking incident at a Texas synagogue on Saturday, which British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss described as an "act of terrorism and anti-Semitism."


The main suspect, British national Malik Faisal Akram, was shot dead after a standoff with police in a Dallas suburb.

FBI identifies Texas Synagogue Hostage Suspect

The FBI says it was a British national who held four worshipers hostage at the Congregation Beth Israel synagogue in Texas on Saturday.

After a near 11-hour standoff, an elite FBI SWAT team stormed the building.

All of the hostages made it out alive and the suspect was killed.
