Sidney Poitier, Hollywood's first black movie star has died

Sidney Poitier has died at the age of 94.

He was the first black man to win the best actor Oscar, which was for 1963’s “ Lillies of the Field”. 


Many of his films dealt with racial tensions in America during the civi rights movement.

Top justices considering whether U.S. vaccine mandates can proceed


The U.S. Supreme Court is hearing arguments on Friday on two key White House vaccine mandates; one for employees and one for government-funded healthcare workers.
