Microsoft Shutting Down Chinese Version of LinkedIn

Microsoft is shutting down the Chinese version of its professional networking site LinkedIn.


The platform for job seekers and employers was the last major US social network operating in China.

Dow rallies after positive earnings results

The Dow rose more than 500 points after a positive start to the third
quarter earnings season.

FDA panel recommends Moderna COVID booster

Texas redistricting map one step closer to reality

Moderna requests half dose COVID booster approval from FDA

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration advisory panel is hearing from Modera on Thursday, about a request to authorise half-dose COVID-vaccines for people 65 and older, as well as for younger adults who are at high risk of severe illness.

Extra healthcare funding announced in England

GERMAN POLITICIANS DISCUSS CANNABIS LEGALISATION

UK/EU NI NEGOTIATIONS BEGIN

UK and EU negotiators are beginning talks on proposals for changes to the post-Brexit Northern Ireland Protocol.

Brussels has suggested a number of ways of easing checks on goods and supplies moving from Great Britain to Northern Ireland.

The UK also wants oversight of post-Brexit rules in Northern Ireland by the European Court of Justice removed, but Brussels says that's not possible.

The EU says it hopes a deal can be reached to ease tensions caused by the Northern Ireland protocol by the end of the year.

UK finance minister Rishi Sunak says London will study the proposals carefully.

Port of Los Angeles Starting 24-7 Operation

Dow closes flat following new inflation figures
