Japan eyeing state of emergency extension

Hong Kong set to allow resumption of UK arrivals
Hong Kong is set to allow passenger flights to resume from the UK from Friday, ending a four month ban on the route due to COVID-19 concerns. The government says the high vaccination rate in the UK, and stabilizing number of daily virus cases, mean the current restrictions can be eased.
