Twitter has permanently suspended President Trump's account, The social media company says the President has repeatedly violated its policies on glorification of violence.

Trump suspended permanently from Twitter

Twitter has permanently suspended President Trump's account, and hidden all of his postings on the social media platform from public view.


He's also no longer permitted to post on Facebook as Democrats say they will begin impeachment proceedings against the President on Monday.

US Loses 140,000 Jobs

The US lost 140 thousand jobs in December. 

That's the first net decline in jobs since last spring's mass layoffs as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Pelosi consults with top US General about dangers of Trump launching nuclear assault

UK records over 1,300 more Covid-19 deaths

EU doubles its deal with Pfizer-BioNTech for 600million shots

Europe has doubled its deal with Pfizer-BioNTech to gain access 600million doses of the vaccine. 

75million doses will be available by June, with the remainder delivered in the second half of the year. 

The EU Commission defended its vaccine strategy amid criticism the roll-out was too slow, and too few jabs had been purchased.

Australia – International flights halved as mutant strain spreads

International passenger numbers flying to Australia will be reduced by 50% and people will have to wear masks on domestic flights, as the mutated strain of Covid 19 from the UK starts to spread.


A quarantine hotel worker in Brisbane tested positive to the highly contagious variant on Wednesday, sending the city in to a three-day hard lockdown this morning.
