German police not right-wing extremists: Interior Minister

Germany's interior minister has denied there are widespread issues of right-wing extremism within the country's police and military forces. Launching a report into the issue, Horst Seehofer said a new investigation showed the overwhelming majority of Germany's law enforcement community followed the constitution and were not racist.

Trump spends first night out of hospital; urges Americans not to be afraid of Coronavirus

US President Donald Trump has spent his first night back at the White House after being treated for coronavirus in hospital.


Mr Trump, who is still contagious removed his mask before entering the building, in a theatrical return which was filmed for a new campaign video.

UK PM VOWS TO DEFEAT COVID-19 IN SPEECH

Boris Johnson has vowed to defeat Covid-19 and dismissed claims that his own bout of the virus has "robbed him of his mojo." 


In his leader's speech at the Conservative party's virtual conference the UK Prime Minister laid out a number of promises, including to "build a new Jerusalem," and declared that he had "more than enough of this disease."

Uganda to Build Roads in Eastern DR Congo

The Ugandan government says it will help finance the construction of 200km of roads inside neighboring Congo.

This follows a meeting between Presidents Museveni of Uganda and DR Congo's Felix Tshisekedi in November 2019, where the two leaders agreed to jointly construct a number of border roads to promote trade.

UK PM vows to make Britain world leader in clean power

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is promising to make Britain "the Saudi Arabia of wind" by becoming "the world leader in low-cost clean power generation."

TRUMP RETURNS TO WHITE HOUSE, REMOVES MASK FOR CAMERAS

US President Donald Trump is facing criticism for returning to the White House and removing his mask there while posing for pictures.

US second largest cinema chain to close

The second-largest cinema chain in the U.S. is closing all of its locations nationwide as the entertainment industry continues to buckle under the pandemic-driven financial strain.


Regal cinemas reopened in August but says it will suspend operations at its more than 500 locations on Thursday.

Trump says he's leaving hospital on Monday
