S. Korean FM criticized over husband's leisure travel

South Korean Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-hwa is being criticized after her husband ignored her own department's travel advisories and went to the U.S. He reportedly went to buy a yacht and sail it around parts of America.

US second largest cinema chain to close

The second-largest cinema chain in the U.S. is closing all of its locations nationwide as the entertainment industry continues to buckle under the pandemic-driven financial strain.


Regal cinemas reopened in August but says it will suspend operations at its more than 500 locations on Thursday.

Trump says he's leaving hospital on Monday

US President Donald Trump says he will be leaving Walter Reed Medical Reed Centre 3 days after being admitted to get treated for the coronavirus.

UK TRIES TO TRACE THOUSANDS OF CONTACTS AFTER COVID-19 DATA 'GLITCH'

Belgium reports an average 2,100 coronavirus cases per day

Belgium is reporting an average of 2,100 daily coronavirus cases over the last week, an increase of 32%. 

On Wednesday a peak of 3000 cases in a single day was recorded.

16,000 COVID-19 cases in UK missed due to IT error

The UK's health agency, Public Health England, says a "technical issue" means nearly 16,000 positive coronavirus cases weren't registered in the final week of September. 


The files, containing the test data from labs, exceeded the maximum size which could be loaded onto its IT system, meaning the reporting of those results were delayed.
