Hong Kong shut down by passing typhoon

Daily life in Hong Kong is largely being shut down by a typhoon passing over the territory. Most businesses and the city's stock market are closed, and the hospital authority is suspending the collection of new Covid-19 test samples.

US, China Double Weekly Flights Between Countries

UK Education Secretary Gavin Williamson's under pressure to resign after the government made a U-turn on exam results.

It's now decided A-Level and GCSE students can receive grades predicted by teachers, after thousands saw their marks down-graded by an algorithm.

Universities now have to work out how to deal with students who thought they'd missed out on places due to lower grades than they were expecting - but who've now had their grades raised again.
