Nine dead and hundreds hospitalised in gas leak in south India

At least nine people have died and hundreds of people have been taken ill following a gas leak at a factory in south India.

Investigations are being conducted into the cause of the leak.

UK CABINET DISCUSSES EASING LOCKDOWN

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is reviewing coronavirus lockdown measures with his cabinet on Thursday - ahead of an expected easing of some restrictions next week.

Trump vetoes Congress resolution limiting his war powers against Iran

Losses on Wall Street following jobs data

Sentiment on Wall Street was dampened Wednesday following the release
of private sector jobs data.

The figures show a collapse in private-sector employment between March

New York subways close for first time in history

New York's subway system has closed overnight for the first time in

Over 100 Prisoners Test Positive for COVID-19 in The DR Congo

Health officials in the Democratic Republic of Congo say more than 100 prisoners have tested positive for the Coronavirus in the Capital's N'dolo Military Prison.

 

The country's national task-force against COVID-19 has begun conducting tests in the overcrowded prison to prevent further spread of the disease.
