Trump on COVID-19: some Americans will die, but they're "warriors"

Some Americans will die for the economy, but they are warriors- that’s the calculation U.S. President Trump is making, who has conceded there will be more deaths and that COVID-19 is worse than Pearl Harbor or 9/11.

The White House has also put out mixed messages on its coronavirus task force, at first signaling it was winding it down. But now President Trump says it’s proving valuable and popular with the American public.

New York subways close for first time in history

New York's subway system has closed overnight for the first time in
its 115 year history.

Trains will stop running for several hours a night in an effort to

20.2 million US private-sector jobs lost in April

More than twenty million jobs were lost in the United States private
sector in April, according to a new report.

Pompeo: China “covered up” virus, could have prevented deaths

Over 100 Prisoners Test Positive for COVID-19 in The DR Congo

more than 100 prisoners have tested positive for the Coronavirus in the Capital's N'dolo Military Prison.

Recession of 'historic proportions' predicted for Europe

The European commission has published its growth map for 2020 and 2021 and shows a recession of "historic proportions" as a result of COVID-19

S. Korea further reopens society as Covid-19 cases remain low

South Korea has reported no new local coronavirus infections for several days over the past week and no more than ten on a single day. The government will further ease social distancing guidelines amid the positive trend.

Trump Administration says coronavirus task force could be disbanded

Venezuela Detains Two Americans in Alleged Coup Attempt

Pfizer and BioNTech begin human testing for Covid-19 vaccine
