Tanzania records its first COVID-19 Death

The Tanzanian government says it has registered its first death from coronavirus on Tuesday. It comes as five new COVID-19 cases were confirmed bringing the national total to 19.

Russian doctor tests positive after meeting Putin

Death of a 12-year-old girl in Belgium from COVID-19

A 12-year-old girl is thought to be the youngest person to die in Europe after contracting the coronavirus. 

She died after being treated in a hospital in Belgium for COVID-19.

BRTISH AIRWAYS SUSPENDS ALL FLIGHTS FROM GATWICK AIRPORT, LONDON

British Airways has suspended all flights to and from Gatwick airport, near London.

The UK's national carrier says "the considerable restrictions and challenging market" meant a temporary suspension was required.

It comes a day after low-cost airline, Easyjet, suspended all its aircraft for two months.

Uganda Tightens Movement of People To Slow Down Spread of COVID-19

EU to scrutinise 'unlimited powers' granted to PM Viktor Orbàn in Hungary

Hungary's parliament has endorsed a bill giving Prime Minister Viktor Orban "unlimited powers" he says he needs to fight COVID-19.
