Uganda Rules Out Evacuating Students Living in Wuhan

Parents of Ugandan students living in Wuhan have criticized the government for refusing to evacuate them.

 

Uganda has ruled out bringing back students stuck in the city amid fears of coronavirus. 


The disease has so far spread to three African countries, with Nigeria being the latest to report a diagnosis.

Stock markets across the globe are suffering their worst week since the global financial crisis of 2008 as fears grow over the impact of the coronavirus. 

 

Markets in Europe plummeted again on Friday, with London's FTSE 100 index sinking more than 3%. Asian and US markets also saw sharp declines, with American tech giants Apple and Microsoft claiming their business will be affected.

Ethiopia to repatriate 1,373 citizens from Tanzania

It is estimated that over 12,000 illegal migrants pass through Tanzania to Southern African countries every year, mostly from Ethiopia, Somalia, Burundi, and Rwanda.

Tanzania to appeal $ 30 million Aircraft lease case

UK threatens to walk away from EU trade talks and wants sovereignty guaranteed

Virus outbreak spreads in France

The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in France has leapt from 18 to 38.

Delhi violence creates conflict in a peaceful neighborhood
