UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, has said he is "absolutely confident" the British Royal Family would be able to resolve the crisis surrounding the future of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

His comments come after the Queen gave her "full support" to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex following their announcement that they want to "step back" as full-time royals

Europeans to trigger Iran nuclear deal dispute resolution mechanism

France, Britain and Germany will on Tuesday inform the European Union on Tuesday that they are triggering a dispute mechanism in the Iran nuclear deal following renewed violations by Tehran of the 2015 accord, two diplomats have said.

Microsoft CEO saying saddened by the Citizenship Law stirs an uproar in India

In India, supporters of the country's ruling party have slammed the media for misrepresenting comments made by Satya Nadella regarding India's Citizenship law.

The legislation fast tracks citizenship for non-Muslim immigrants and has been criticized as unsecular by critics.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson calls on US President Donald Trump to renegotiate new Iran nuclear deal

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has urged US President Donald Trump to replace the current deal which is meant to stop Iran acquiring a nuclear weapon.


Mr Johnson says the UK would support the existing arrangement until a replacement is found, but admits that "from the American perspective, it's a flawed deal."

African Union to hold meeting on Libya

The Africans Union says it will hold a new round of Libya peace talks later this month.


The AU hopes to gather Libya's factions in Brazzaville, in The Republic of Congo on 25th January.


A meeting between the UN backed Government of National Accord and the Libyan National Army in Moscow has failed to confirm a peace deal, with the LNA asking for more time.

TRUDEAU: 'MORE TALKS NEEDED' ON HARRY AND MEGHAN PLAN

Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says more talks are needed to work out details like security costs for Prince Harry and his wife Meghan's move to the country.

The Queen agreed on Monday to put a 'transition' in place during which the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will split their time between Britain and Canada.

It follows the couple announcing last week they would step down as senior Royals and seek financial independence.

Chinese trade delegation arrive in Washington ahead of trade deal signing

Cory Booker Drops out of 2020 Presidential Race

Democratic Senator for New Jersey Cory Booker dropped out of the 2020 race for US President on Monday.

 

He failed to qualify for two debates including Tuesday's in Iowa and in an email to supporters said that meant it would be harder to raise the money his campaign needed to "to scale up and continue building a campaign that can win".
