local chance Vow and Declare taking the cup, denying all the international entries. Master of Reality was Second past the post, with Prince of Arran
third, however following a protest which was upheld, Master of Reality was dumped to fourth, with Prince of Arron taking second, and Paradiso third.

Trump will seek Supreme Court ruling in bid to keep tax returns private

President Trump will now ask the US Supreme Court to shield his tax returns from public view.


The move came after a lower court ruled that he must hand them over to the Manhattan District Attorney who is leading an investigation of the President's business.

UK terrorism threat level downgraded

The UK's terrorism threat level has been downgraded from "severe" to "substantial." It is now at its lowest since August 2014.

 

But Home Secretary Priti Patel says the UK is still at "a high level of threat" and an attack could "occur without further warning."

Trump asks Supreme Court to review tax returns case

his tax returns case after an appeals court ruled he must hand over
eight years of financial records.

The three-judge panel unanimously rejected his claim that he was
immune from criminal investigation while in the White House.

Security Council Presidential Statement on Guinea-Bissau

US envoy at ASEAN summit slams Chinese moves in South China Sea

Storm Amélie cuts power to tens of thousands in south west France

WADA delays Russia doping decision to December

The World Anti-Doping Agency says it will take a decision on the status of Russia's anti-doping agency by the end of the year - postponing an announcement initially slated for Monday.

In September, WADA reportedly found alleged signs of data tampering during its latest investigation into doping in Russia. If proved correct, Russia could be banned from the upcoming Tokyo Olympics.
