Thousands of people rally in Kyiv against election plan in rebel-held east

Thousands of people rallied in Ukraine's capital on Sunday against the president's plan to hold a local election in the country's rebel-held east.

The move is seen by some as a major concession to Russia.

Second whistleblower will file national security complaint against President Trump

A second whistleblower has come forward to accuse President Trump of putting US national security at risk during a phone conversation with the President of Ukraine.


The second intelligence official is said by his lawyer to have more "direct information" about the phone call and President Trump's demand that Ukraine investigate Democratic Party front-runner Joe Biden ahead of next year's election.

Paris police attacker had psychotic episode the previous night

UK URGES FACEBOOK RETHINK OVER ENCRYPTION

US to impose tariffs on EU products
