NY couple sues LA fertility clinic over IVF mix-up, claims babies born were not theirs

A New York couple is claiming they gave birth to twins that were not their biological children, after a mix-up by their fertility clinic.


But that's not the worst of it, according to a lawsuit filed by the couple from Flushing, New York, identified only as AP and YZ.


They are suing Los Angeles-based CHA Fertility Center in federal court for medical malpractice and negligence.

US immigration officers have used facial recognition technology to search drivers' licences without the holders knowing.

Records of the scans in states that issue licences to undocumented immigrants were obtained by Georgetown Law researchers and passed on to the Washington Post.

NTAGANDA CONVICTED AT ICC

Former Congolese rebel leader Bosco Ntaganda has been found guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity at the International Criminal Court.

ICC judges convicted him on 18 counts which included sexual slavery, using child soldiers, rape and murder.
