Boeing & FAA Under Scrutiny Following Ethiopian Airlines Crash

Concerns are being raised about Boeing and a U.S. regulator's role in safety approvals prior to last week's Ethiopian Airlines crash.

157 people were killed shortly after take-off in a similar pattern to last October's Lion Air crash with the same aircraft.

Police Name Suspect in Utrecht Shooting

Police are searching for 37-year-old Gökeman Tanis in connection to a fatal shooting in the Dutch city of Utrecht.


The shooting happened on a tram in the city, and left three dead and nine others injured.

WFP STOPS DISTRIBUTING BLENDED FOOD IN UGANDA

Police in North Eastern Uganda has confirmed the death of three people after suffering from poisoning following food distributions by the UN World Food Programme (WFP).

On Saturday, scores of people were taken ill and admitted to health facilities after they consumed Super Cereal, a fortified blended food.

French authorities to announce new measures to prevent violent protests

French authorities are set to announce new security measures to prevent further violent protests, after an unexpected resurgence of violence among « yellow vests » demonstrators in central Paris on Saturday.

Multiple people injured in Netherlands tram shooting

State funeral held for India's former defence minister

A state funeral is being held for India's former defence minister Manohar Parrikar, who died on Sunday evening.
