Facebook is losing two top executives. Their departures come days after CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced a  major shift in director for the company.

Senate votes to reject Trump's national emergency

The US Senate has voted to block President Trump's emergency declaration on the US-Mexico border.

Twelve Republican Senators joined Democrats to reject the declaration. President Trump has said he will veto the resolution.

Huawei pleads not guilty to US charges in New York court


Telecoms giant Huawei has pleaded not guilty to a 13-count indictment from US federal prosecutors, part of a wider controversy that's strained relations between Washington and Beijing.

The charges include bank and wire fraud, violating sanctions against Iran and obstructing justice.

Trump Tweets about post-Brexit UK Trade Deal

UPDATED: Black boxes from Ethiopian Airlines plane arrive in France

The black boxes from the Ethiopian Airlines plane which crashed on Sunday killing 157 people have arrived in France.

The French air accident investigation agency will now analyse the voice and data recorders.

The machines were due to be sent to Germany but its investigators could not help out in the end.

Police question two K-pop starts in sex scandals

 

South Korea pop stars are being questioned by police in sex scandals. Both men have already announced their retirement from the industry.

Singer and TV star Jung Joon-young has admitted he filmed himself having sex with women without their consent.


Then he says he shared the videos with other entertainers in a chat room.


One of the other men is allegedly Lee Seung-hyun, a now former member of the group Big Bang.


In another scandal, Lee is accused of offering prostitutes to potential business investors.


Both men say they're done with entertainment.


Police may issue arrest warrants as the investigation moves along.


K-pop fans condemned the men online.


Some said the allegations are part of a bigger social problem in South Korea where sex crimes against women are frequent.

India condemns China's veto on UNSC terror listing

India has expressed disappointment over China blocking a bid to list Masood Azhar as a UN designated terrorist. 

Masood Azhar is the founder of the Jaish-e-Mohammad, a Pakistan based militant group that had claimed responsibility for an attack in Kashmir that killed 40 Indian security personnel.

A UNSC tag would have meant an assets freeze, travel ban and an arms embargo as also, increased global pressure for Pakistan to act against the group.

California moves to halt executions

California's Governor is expected to sign an executive order to
