India condemns China's veto on UNSC terror listing

India has expressed disappointment over China blocking a bid to list Masood Azhar as a UN designated terrorist. 

Masood Azhar is the founder of the Jaish-e-Mohammad, a Pakistan based militant group that had claimed responsibility for an attack in Kashmir that killed 40 Indian security personnel.

A UNSC tag would have meant an assets freeze, travel ban and an arms embargo as also, increased global pressure for Pakistan to act against the group.

Astronauts to fly to space after failed launch

California moves to halt executions

California's Governor is expected to sign an executive order to

US Pilots Complained About Safety of Boeing Jets Prior to Latest Crash

American pilots who flew the Boeing 737 Max registered complaints about the performance of the jet, according to media reports.

US officials confirm air strikes on Afghan army base


US officials have confirmed American air strikes destroyed an Afghan army base after a friendly fire incident.

The Defence Ministry in Kabul said troops at the base opened fire on a joint US-Afghan convoy after mistaking them for Taliban forces.

Italian cargo ship carrying hydrochloric acid sinks off French coast

An Italian cargo ship has sunk off the western Atlantic coast of France following an intense fire that had raged for two days.

Russian bills on fake news and insulting power expected to pass

Two bills affecting freedom of speech in Russia are expected to be approved by the upper house of parliament on Wednesday.
