Longtime Trump Adviser Roger Stone Charged

Roger Stone, A longtime adviser to U.S. President Donald Trump has been charged by the special counsel investigating Russian interference in the 2016 elections.

Roger Stone was charged on seven counts related to alleged attempts to mislead or obstruct an investigation in Congress.

Anti-Yellow Vests to march in Paris

French security forces are gearing up for another weekend of protests - but, for the first time, demonstrators opposed to the Yellow Vests are set to take to the streets of Paris.

Venezuelan Stalemate Continues

The stalemate continues in Venezuela, as two men insist they're the legitimate heads of state. Opposition lawmaker Juan Guaido proclaimed himself Venezuela's rightful leader during nationwide protests Wednesday. Meanwhile Nicolas Maduro —  re-elected in a widely disputed election last May —insists he will not step down.

US Senate rejects government funding bills

The US Senate has rejected two bills that would end the government shutdown now in its second month.

Aid restrictions impacting 50,000 people in Myanmar

A clampdown on aid activities in Myanmar's Rakhine State is impacting
at least 50,000 people. That's according to a United Nations internal
note obtained by Reuters.

A military crackdown in 2017 resulted in over 700,000 Rohingya muslims
fleeing into neighboring Bangladesh.

And regional officials say aid restrictions have been put in place

Rescuers pull out first body from Indian coal mine

Six weeks after 15 miners were first trapped in an illegal mine in the Indian state of Meghalaya, rescuers have finally managed to retrieve one body.
