85,000 Yemeni children dead from starvation

Around 85,000 children in Yemen, under the age of five, are estimated
to have died from hunger since the start of the civil war in 2015.

The latest figures come as the United Nations envoy arrives in the
country to negotiate possible peace talks.

Abu Dhabi Crown Prince sued in Paris

A crown prince from the UAE has been sued by a rights group in Paris who have accused the royal of war crimes in Yemen.

Prince Mohammed, who is first in line to the Abu Dhabi throne, is on a two-day visit to France.

NASA to probe Space X and Boeing over safety

NASA is launching an investigation into safety practices at Space X.

The move comes after CEO Elon Musk was shown smoking marijuana and drinking whiskey during a recent podcast streamed online.

British man sentenced to life in prison for spying


A British man has been sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty of spying in the United Arab Emirates.   


31 year old Matthew Hedges who is a PhD student denied the charges that he was spying for the UK, insisting he was conducting research.   From London, Catherine Drew reports.

Trump submits written answers on Russian election meddling


President Trump has handed over written answers to questions from the Special Counsel Robert Mueller as part of the ongoing investigation into alleged Russian interference in the last U.S. election

Mueller is also looking into whether the Trump campaign colluded with the Kremlin in an attempt to win the White House, and if the president later obstructed justice when events fell under investigation.

French FM wants Renault - Nissan partnership to continue amid turmoil

French Foreign Minister Bruno Le Maire says he wants the alliance between carmakers Renault and Nissan to continue despite its boss being arrested in Japan on Monday.

Pompeo warns South Korea of improving ties with Pyongyang too quickly

The U.S. Secretary of State has urged South Korea not to improve ties
with North Korea quicker than Pyongyang's progress with
denuclearization.

Seoul has previously called for more incentives to encourage North

Lawmakers call for further investigations into Khashoggi's murder

Turkey's foreign minister says Ankara isn't satisfied with the level
of cooperation from Saudi Arabia over the killing of journalist Jamal
Khashoggi.

The Trump administration is reportedly set to add the South American nation to its list of state sponsors of terrorism.

Expressing no sympathy for Khashoggi family, Trump proclaims US ties with Saudi Arabia

UN condemns Kabul bombing of religious leaders
