UK PM Pledges Government investment in African Economies
On the UK Prime Minister's first official visit to the African continent, Theresa May has pledged plans for a new partnership with African nations to enable job creation.
Speaking in Cape Town, South Africa, the Prime Minister said that she wanted the UK to become the G7's biggest investor in Africa by 2022, and spoke of the importance of both government and private sector investment in the continent.
One of the biggest announcements was a 4billion pound (just over 5bn dollar) investment pledge in Africa
