US rejects EU plans for Iran sanctions exemption

The US has rejected EU pleas to be granted exemptions from sanctions on Iran to be implemented in August.

Earlier this year the US pulled out of the landmark Iran nuclear deal and ordered sanctions to be re-imposed on any business doing business with Tehran.

Google engineer killed in latest mob lynching in India

An engineer who worked for Google in the Indian city of Hyderabad has become the latest victim of WhatsApp fuelled mob lynchings in India.

The 32-year-old was beaten to death and three others severely injured after a mob mistook them to be child kidnappers.

FRANCE AND CROATIA FANS AT WORLD CUP FINAL

Croatia will play in their first-ever World Cup final on Sunday, against France. Croatia is one of the smallest countries to reach a final with just four million people. But thousands have flown in to see the match at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium. These Croatia fans in Red Square told us it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Mueller indicts 12 Russian intelligence officers

Special Counsel Prosecutor Robert Mueller has indicted 12 Russian intelligence officers, saying they hacked into the Democratic National Party's network and into the computers of top staffers of Hillary Clinton's campaign. 

This latest news out of Mueller's probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 election comes just three days before President Trump meets with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki.
