US and China Deal on ZTE Possible

The United States and China have agreed upon the outlines of a deal over the Chinese telecoms company ZTE.

The US recently banned American companies from selling components to ZTE for seven years.

Nipah virus outbreak claims 9 lives in India

An outbreak of the deadly Nipah virus has been reported in the Indian state of Kerala.

Nine people-including a nurse treating those affected- have died so far and twenty five others have been hospitalised. 

Nipah was first identified during an outbreak in Malaysia more than 20 years ago. 
It spreads from pigs and fruit bats to humans.

US Dep’t of Justice to probe infiltration of Trump campaign

The U.S. Department of Justice says it will investigate whether President Donald Trump's campaign may have been infiltrated by the FBI.

This comes after President Trump issued a Tweet demanding a probe into what he says are attempts to frame him.
