Weary Tillerson Accepts Firing

Rex Tillerson says he will leave his job as US Secretary of State at the end of this month.

He was fired by the President via Twitter and then had a phone call with Donald Trump three hours later.

The current director of the CIA, Mike Pompeo will take over the position.

Three explosions in Texas capital linked, officials say

Three package bombs that have exploded in the Texas capital, Austin, are believed to be related.

Two separate blasts on Monday killed one teenager and severely injured an elderly woman.

U.S. believe some Taliban may be open to talks

The United States believes that some elements of the Taliban may be
open to peace talks with the Afghan government.

Russia demands evidence ahead of UK poisoning response deadline

Moscow is demanding a sample of the substance Britain says was used in a poisoning attack on its soil. 

The UK says it is encouraged by the international support it has received since naming Russia as the likely culprit.

President Trump has fired US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, just hours after Mr. Tillerson blamed Russia for the nerve gas attack in Britain against former spy Sergei Skripal.


The President has named Mike Pompeo, currently the director of the CIA, as the new Secretary of State.

Russia warns of US strike on Damascus amid 'fake chemical weapons'

‘Bookkeeper of Auschwitz’ dies before serving time


A former Nazi prison guard known as the 'Bookkeeper of Auschwitz' has died at the age of 96.

He had been sentenced to a four year prison terms in in a landmark ruling in twenty fifteen, but never actually served time.

DEADLINE FOR RUSSIAN NERVE AGENT EXPLANATION APPROACHES

Russia has until the end of Tuesday to explain how a Russian-made nerve agent was used to attack a former spy and his daughter on British soil.

Hundreds of Indian passengers stranded as Airbus planes with faulty engines grounded

Two low-cost carriers in India have had to cancel at least 70 flights on account of the Indian civil aviation watchdog grounding 11 aircraft that have faulty engines.

The European Aviation Safety Agency that regulates Airbus aircraft has called the decision 'unilateral', saying that a complete grounding of these planes was not necessary.

US House Republicans find no evidence Trump colluded with Russia
